On 21 September 2026, the Château de Pourtalès in Strasbourg welcomed an afternoon dedicated to an essential question:
How can each of us contribute to building peace?
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the richness of the discussions and exchanges.
🤝 With Charles Rojzman, from the Charles Rojzman Institute, participants explored prejudice, fear and our reactions to the unknown and to “the other”. The session opened an important conversation about how we can move beyond fear and build greater trust.
🌱 With Isabelle Duquesne, from PeaceAbility, the workshop invited participants to reflect on their own capacity to contribute — whether in the social, economic, political or environmental sphere.
Through essential peace skills — empathy, self-confidence, the ability to become an agent of change, and a willingness to take responsibility — we explored how peace can begin with our own immediate environment.
Peace is not only an international ambition. It is also built through our relationships, organisations, communities and everyday choices.
✨ Inspired by the diversity and engagement of this year’s audience, PeaceAbility is already preparing a fourth edition in 2027.
Our ambition is to bring together more peace organisations, diplomats based in Strasbourg, engaged professionals and citizens who want to contribute to peace — locally, regionally and internationally.
Thank you to everyone who took part, shared, listened and engaged.
