CREATING PARTNERSHIPS AND MOBILIZING RESOURCES

CRÉATION DE PARTENARIATS
ET MOBILISATION DES RESSOURCES

Presentation

This seminar focuses on creating and maintaining effective partnerships in an intra- or inter-state political and socio-economic context. Key skills include project and program management, stakeholder management, negotiation, resource sharing, and evaluation.

The training is based on concrete examples that also relate to the humanitarian and economic development fields. Partnerships are created between ministries and government agencies, NGOs, local civil society, businesses of all sizes, development funds and banks, among others.

According to the adage that “we are stronger together,” partnerships are fundamental to the successful completion of national, cross-border, or regional projects. Negotiation skills and agreement between the parties are essential.

The operationalization of partnerships lies in the sharing and management of resources. These resources are financial, in employment policy, access to land and water, property and exploitation rights, and the sharing of risks and gains.
