Mediation

Mediation

Mediation involves entering into a dispute or controversy in order to help the parties involved agree on the value of certain common points. Once shared needs have been recognized, it becomes possible to manage conflicting interests.

In addition to desirable knowledge of the contestants’ field, mediation follows a process of often iterative steps. It requires skills in analysis, precise language, interpersonal relations, facilitation, and diplomatic leadership. Methods and tools for exploration and simulation are supported by the principles of impartiality, confidentiality, and service in order to move toward solutions.

Becoming a mediator

At EUROBOGEN, you will learn how to become a mediator. There are several options available:

Short-term training, over three days (inter- or intra-company):

Day 1: Dealing with conflicts between members of a team or group within an organization (hierarchical levels, cross-functional projects, between employees). Mediation is also a way to rebalance human relationships at work.

Day 2: Handling conflicts and dilemmas between departments, offices, and subsidiaries: improved communication between departments and sites within the same organization. Mediation helps to harmonize processes and remote human relationships.

Day 3: Handling conflicts between an organization and external stakeholders. Mediation is an impartial third-party approach to resolving difficult negotiations.

This training is also offered during the 2026 Summer Academy, as a 3-day module.

La formation longue durée de 12 jours, hybride sur 9 mois (en inter ou intra) :

Mediation interventions

EUROBOGEN’s certified consultants and mediators work with companies, associations, and institutions to support change processes or help resolve internal dilemmas. As a third party with two people, in team coaching mode, or in a public forum with staff, consultants apply mediation methods to help achieve common understanding, commitment to collective understanding, and strategic advancement of the organization.
