EUROBOGEN was tasked with facilitating the rollout of a training program for the analysis of local conflicts and intervention planning by UN professionals. Strategies, tactics, and techniques combine into a comprehensive approach to support the various sections of peace missions and their partners in responding sensitively to conflicts and engaging in relevant local solutions. Initially, the United Nations Department of Policy, Evaluation, and Training co-created the methodology with the Zentrum für Internationale Friedenseinsätze in Berlin. Continuously revised and improved, the approach serves non-military officers in their engagement with analytical and planning tools for peace. EUROBOGEN is DPET’s partner for the educational provision of this capacity building in peace missions in Africa. Isabelle Duquesne is the lead consultant.
