The world of Trade Unions

Trainings, support and coaching for French-speaking trade unions

The world of trade unions presents the unique management and leadership challenges. Employee-representatives and trade union founders are dedicated to defending the interests of certain professions, particularly their employees. These individuals, dedicated to advancing human causes at work, do not act alone but in teams and networks. They manage programs and projects with diverse cross-functional teams. This is why management science and the arts of leadership are essential for union adaptation to ongoing societal changes.

Whether it’s a campaign, an event, or a societal initiative, the success of a project depends on the ability to effectively plan, structure, and mobilize available, often limited, resources. Major union projects utilize proven project management methods used in industry, public enterprises, government agencies, and international institutions. The project method is now inseparable from major union programs.

The Negotiation is deeply individual because it expresses the personality, its morality or conscience, and its behavioral habits. However, it must adapt to the areas and circumstances in which it takes place, according to their standards and in a constant search for what is most equitable, and therefore beneficial for the greatest number of beneficiaries.
