business developer (M/W/D) - STRASBOURG

A high-level training firm, on the market for 30 years with tailor-made services, coaching and organizational development for companies and international institutions is looking for a multi-talented manager:

  1. Training: experienced trainer or consultant, who has already worked with other firms (or his own); knows how to teach one or more professional disciplines essential for any organization.
  2. Salesperson: at least 3 years of commercial activity with responsibilities for territories or key accounts, CRM and network; knows how to sell intellectual and technical products to SME and large company procurement officers.
  3. Administration: is familiar with German laws and practices; can recruit staff, respond to calls for tenders, draw contracts and develop customer accounts.
  4. Social: Social-emotional intelligence with oneself and others (balance between caring/support and focus on results).

The objective is to develop the business by increasing the regional influence, the visibility of the firm and the consulting activities.

Modest base salary and honourable commission. Partnership possible after two years.

  • ✓ Proven experience in the training & consulting business (e.g.: former Head of Studies of International Academic Programmes –Management, OD, International Relations & Diplomacy).
  • ✓ Minimum 5 years of Marketing and Sales (e.g.: manager with international sales activities leading teams in different regions).
  • ✓ Excellent spoken/written English and German, a third language (e.g. French) will be a plus.
  • ✓ Strong entrepreneurial spirit and track record.
  • ✓ Capacity for both autonomy and collaboration in deployment of sales, partnerships and operations.
  • ✓ High level of soft skills (can self-reflect and get on well with a wide variety of people).
  • ✓ Psychological agility to reinvent oneself and find alternative approaches when unexpected circumstances require it.

  • The compensation consists of a base salary + commission.
