Project management is added value to every profession, every production process and every service delivery. It is a basic competence for all levels of an institution or company. Managing processes and people in projects brings hierarchies and lateral departments to work together analytically and systemically through all phases – from concept to evaluation of results.
Every process meets with planned and unplanned events and the need to change according to circumstances. Projects must be able to adapt to new circumstances while still consistently asserting their goals.
Strategic, programmatic plans are realised through localised as well as interconnected projects. In matrix structures, projects need the leadership skills of transversal management.
Through open teamwork and networks, the efficiency and effectiveness of each aspect becomes visible. In this way, an understanding of the systemic interrelationships of complex tasks is gained.
This seminar is an introduction to Project Management, including the software tools that are best suited for running simple projects.
