A digital workshop on RESILIENT & SUSTAINABLE PEACE took place on 27 February 2021. Six speakers shared their knowledge and experience in different fields:
Patrick d’HUMIERES, Founder of Eco-Learn.fr, spoke on Economic Peace; Laurent GOETSCHEL, Director of swisspeace, on International Peace; Zen Master Oiivier WANG GENH, Head of the monastery RyumonJi, on Personal Peace; Carole ZIELINSKI, Advisor to the Mayor of Strasbourg, on Social Peace; Gisela ERLER, Councillor of State of Bade-Württemberg (Germany), on Political Peace; Serge STROOBANTS, Director of the Institute for Economics & Peace for EMEA, on Environmental Peace.
Participants represented 13 countries (Greece, Syria, Germany, Switzerland, Republic of Central Africa, Belgium, UK, Luxembourg, Lebanon, Cameroon, Burundi, and Rwanda). The participative workshop format enabled multiple exchanges, producing solutions to problems and dilemmas presented by the speakers. Some comments :
