Managing Conflicts - The Art of Mediation |
|
| All companies face conflicts, but there are some companies that handle them better than others. Conflicts come in various guises. They usually occur when two or more endeavours are seen to be contradictory or incompatible: sometimes there seem to be winners and losers; tension becomes even more critical when a decision must be taken quickly. A mediator is a person who understands the inner workings of conflicts in general and the perceptions of the conflicting stakeholders in particular situations. The mediator applies sharp third-party perception, practical techniques, clear communication and psychological tools to the service of the conflicting parties – so that these find their own solutions. This seminar teaches such skills. | |
